Since being in Tallahassee we have had quite the struggle in finding a church to attend. Back home we had some really great churches and anywhere you went you would know someone. We had been trying church for months and not finding anything that was remotely close to somewhere we wanted to call our church home. About 3 weeks ago, we found a church downtown called First Baptist Downtown. We felt more comfortable there than anyplace yet. We met a gentleman that happened to be the newlywed small group leader. He invited us to their small group meetings on Mondays. We have been a couple of times and really enjoy it. One of the couples were having a fall get together filled with pumpkin carving, bomb fires, and dessert (my kind of evening).

We had a great time with some new friends. Being in a new place has been really difficult, away from out family and friends, but finding some new friends will continue to make it easier and easier.
